The best part of this system are the cameras. The 700 TVL security cameras that come with the system have the highest available resolution. The cameras are also varifocal from 4mm to 9mm. This lets you manually adjust the focal distance to optimize the clarity of the subjects you are monitoring. The cameras also have 25 IR LEDs allowing you to capture images up to 50 feet away in total darkness.

Another great feature of this DVR is the VGA output resolution. The recorded footage stored on the DVR can be viewed at a resolution of 1280 x 1024 which is consider pretty good. When reviewing the footage there won't be problems with the output not having adequate quality. This increases the likelyhood of successfully capturing incidents.
