The 16 channel DVR comes with a 500Gb hard drive and can be upgraded to 1Tb. There won't be any worries about losing recorded video because the hard drive filled up.

The digital video recorder (DVR) is very easy to use and can be set to only record when motion is detected on the cameras. This prevents unneeded footage from filling up the hard drive and also provides a time stamp of each event to make it easy to find when there is an incident. The DVR is true pentaplex operation which means you can view live, record, playback and archive all at the same time without stopping the other functions. This feature is extremely helpful in a high activity area. The DVR can record all the cameras simultaneously at 30 frames per second (live motion speed).
The bullet style outdoor cameras have weatherproof housings to ensure operation during harsh weather conditions. The cameras also come equipped with 24 IR LEDs which provide 60 feet of vision in total darkness. The 1/3" CCD image sensor has a 3.6mm focal length for wide angle viewing. Also with 540 TVLs, the cameras will provide crisp clear images.
