The Panasonic PLC Bridge system comes with a pair of adapters that turn your powerlines into network lines, so you can have online and network access from any power outlet in your home. Adding adapters to your Panasonic PLC Bridge local area network is easy. Just plug a Panasonic PLC Bridge into a dual outlet with the master adapter and press each adapter's set button. A light will indicate that setup is complete. Once adapters are registered, simply plug them into the wall outlets around your home. You can connect up to 16 Panasonic PLC Bridge adapters in any home. Unlike setting up an Ethernet network, you don't need to run cables from room to room, and this system eliminates the dead areas common to wireless networks. Communication is comfortably fast (up to 190 Mbps) and highly safe: You can confirm the speed of each adapter's connection by simply pressing a button, and data sent and received over the PLC network employs AES 128-bit encryption. Each adapter has a LAN jack, which connects each adapter to your broadband router, hub, computer, and peripherals. Connecting adapters to network devices will integrate your adapters with your home network. LAN cables are sold separately.
