Control your SecureLinc wireless security and home automation system remotely over a secure Internet connection. Just connect the PowerLink Web Interface Controller to your SecureLinc panel, and you'll not only be able to arm and disarm the system remotely, you'll be able to control any connected home automation device. The PowerLink even connects to four wired or wireless cameras, so you'll have a whole-house surveillance system available for viewing from anywhere in the world. A single wireless color surveillance camera is included with this kit. The Web-Enabled SecureLinc System is sold separately.
Setup takes only minutes. Use the supplied cat. 5 cable to attach the PowerLink to a LAN port on your router. Install the interface module in your SecureLinc and connect the PowerLink to the interface using the included RS-232 cable. Connect the camera to your network using the supplied Ethernet cable to register it in the SecureLinc system.
The PowerLink has a built-in secure web server, which ensures that all private information is fully secured. Log in on site or remotely using a secure user name and password. Once connected, you'll be able to view cameras or control home automation devices. You'll also be able to view device status, save images, adjust the system's mode and add users (up to eight).
In case of an event, PowerLink immediately informs you via e-mail, text message and on-screen alerts. The alarm mode screen displays the alarm type, date and time automatically. It also includes quick access buttons to view video cameras, mute the system siren, turn all lights on or off, or disarm the system.
Check up on the babysitter or housekeeper, keep an eye on the kids, or monitor vacation homes with the PowerLink's surveillance features. For each connected camera, the PowerLink can store 5 frames of pre-alarm and 10 frames of post-alarm images. One Wireless Color Camera is included; additional Wireless Color Cameras are sold separately. Hardwired Ethernet Cameras are also available to be purchased separately or with the PowerLink as a kit.
