You can stay connected at all times, surfing, downloading and talking on the phone over the Internet, all at the same time. The Way2Call HomeSeer Phone makes calling out easy: just say, " Dial Bill Smith" or "Dial 911" or any other number for easy connection. If you're interacting with your computer on an in-house phone and an external call arrives, the call is announced over the phone, including any available Caller ID information. Switching to the incoming call is then easy. When Caller ID is detected, the ring pattern can be changed, so important calls or calls for a specific person can be assigned a special ring. The Hi-Phone Desktop is a TAPI compliant device, designed for WAVE and TAPI environments, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and convergence markets.
