If your house is already wired with cat. 5 twisted pair cable, you can take advantage of this existing wiring to connect wired surveillance cameras to your security monitor without having to run more costly video cable. The CCTV Pass-Thru Balun allows video, two-wire pan/tilt/zoom control and remote power to be transmitted via one four-pair cat. 5 cable, thus eliminating the need to install multiple cables for more efficient cabling in your closed-circuit security and surveillance environment. Security cameras are sold separately.
