The KJB C1193 is one of the most popular wireless security cameras available and for good reason. The camera has a built in wireless transmitter that sends digital wireless signals to the transmitter. Since the signal is digitally modulated it will not interfere with other wireless devices. The convenient wireless receiver plugs right into a USB port on a Windows based PC. The transmitter can send a signal as far as 500 feet to the receiver if there are no obstructions.

The KJB C1193 package includes easy to install and configure software that runs a surveillance management program with many features on a computer. The video captured by the camera is stored on the computers hard drive. Some of the features are motion activation, email alerts, filtering and many other options to ensure comprehensive but efficient surveillance is being done. The USB receiver can handle as many as four cameras. The system will allow for switching between multiple cameras (not quad-view). The software can also be configure for remote viewing through an internet connection and IE browser.

With 20 IR LEDs, the camera has the capability to see up to about 40 feet in total darkness. The outdoor rated housing on the camera can perform even it harsh weather conditions.

Special note about the email alert feature: The C1193 does email notify if an event occurs. An email is sent and a photo attaches to the email notification. One important thing to note, you cannot send this notification from an email account that needs to be authorized/authenticated (gmail, yahoo, Hotmail.. cannot use). We recommend that you use an email domain provided by your internet provider to send the email message. However you can send the notification to any email address.
