Security Camera Systems

Security camera systems provide a comprehensive surveillance solution for almost any situation. A security camera system that is prepackaged includes everything needed to get up and running such as cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, digital video recorder, monitor and even instruction manual. If packaged systems do not meet your needs, custom built systems are available to pick and choose the exact equipment needed to provide the necessary surveillance.
There are many features and options available today on security camera systems that make footage more accessible than ever. Web-ready and SmartPhone compatible DVR security camera systems are commonplace. Many DVRs use H.264 compression to store footage on the hard drive. DVR hard drives can now hold up to 2 terabytes of data providing more storage than will ever be needed for most applications.
This allows the security camera system to store more footage on less disk space without losing image quality. Many security camera systems offer the ability to view multiple cameras at once, with options such as remote control, zooming and widening the camera’s view at will. Vendor such as SVAT Electronics offer packaged security camera systems with 2, 4, 8 or 16 cameras that cater to the do it yourselfer. Installing a security camera system has never been easier.
